Ballet Classes

 

All ballet classes will follow the Vagnova method. Class will follow a similar structure of barre, center and movement across the floor.

Level 1: Ballet 1 is for students age five or older with less than one year of ballet experience. Students will learn basic foot and arm position and beginner-level barre exercises, center work and progressions across the floor.

Level 2: is for accelerated students and students with at least one year of ballet training.

Level 3: is for accelerated students with at least 2 years of ballet experience.

Level 4: is for accelerated students with at least 3 years of ballet experience.

Level 5: is for accelerated students with at least 3 years of ballet experience.

Accelerated Ballet is for students with at least 4 years of ballet experience.

Pointe: Pointe class is for dancers in level 4 or level 5. Students must be at least 10 years old with at least 3 years of ballet training. When a student receives her pointe shoes, it is at the discretion of the teacher to judge when the student’s feet and ankles are strong enough to dance en pointe.
