Jazz Classes

 

Jazz classes will follow a similar format of a warm up/stretch, learning and perfecting technical skills, and working on memory and reinforcing skills in age-appropriate combinations.

Primary Jazz is for students with at least one year of dance experience between the ages of 5-7. For accelerated progression, it is recommended for students to also take one ballet class per week.

Beginner Jazz is for new jazz students ages 7 and up. For accelerated progression, it is recommended for students to also be enrolled in and appropriate level of ballet. -Intermediate Jazz is for students with 2-3 years of dance experience. Classes will consist of stretching/warm up, technique in the center and across the floor and stylized choreography. For accelerated progression, it is recommended for students to also be enrolled in one ballet class a week.

Advanced Jazz is for students with 3+ years of dance experience. Classes will consist of stretching/warm up, technique in the center and across the floor and stylized choreography. For accelerated progression, it is recommended for students to also be enrolled in one ballet class a week.
